The Red Pages website has been designed to link members of the Vampire / Vampyre Community with what aspires to be the most comprehensive, well organized, and easy to modify vampire-specific web url directory. This directory is hosted on the Order of the Crimson Tongues [OCT] main eGroup website's Link Area.
Anyone may either add links (or folders) or modify the links (or folders) that they have created. No affiliation-with nor endorsement-of OCT is required (although Yahoo does require at least temporary membership in the forum for a user to add or modify bookmarks) or implied by any listings.
Please do not add any bookmarks to the top-level directory, but rather find the correct sub-directory (or sub-sub directory, or sub-sub-sub directory, etc.) to place your link(s) into. This will help both the site you are attempting to promote and the people who may be trying to find it. Few people will want to wade through long and poorly organized listings, so the more care you take in placing your link, the more likely it will be found by the right people.
Similiarly, please only create your own folder(s) if there is a reason to keep all your bookmarks together and please put your folder(s) within the appropriate sub-directories.
This web directory is essentially uncensored. However, misplaced bookmarks may be moved to more appropriate locations. Upon receiving new information, old bookmarks may be updated. Inappropriate bookmarks [mostly meaned placed by spambots] or invalid bookmarks may be removed.
If anyone requires modifications to bookmarks created by another user, please contact bholanath@houseofthedreaming.org. Please include "[Red Pages]" in the subject link, include the exact location of the bookmark to be modified, the specific change(s) to make, and (optionally) who you are [especially in relation to the bookmark for which you propose alterations] and why you feel these changes should be made.
